B&C's (or The Search for The Best Bean & Cheese Burrito)

A big part of my husband and I's courtship in our early days revolved around bean & cheese burritos. We bonded over both having them as an after-school snack growing up and it started us on a mission to find the best B&C's in Southern California, from San Diego to LA. This quest has now expanded to anywhere we can find a bean and cheese burrito, including our own kitchen experimentations, but SoCal does have a handle on B&C's.

The Rating System is a combination of the below inputs, which are ranked on characteristics like: thickness, viscosity, mouthfeel, bean to cheese ratio and structure. For me an extra meaty bean will lose points because while fat is important to the optimal refried bean, too lardy of a bean can overpower the flavor nuances of this simple comfort food.
